An extended treatment of a mix that was released as a b-side to the Situation '90 single. The original version of the mix starts off with a minute-long vocal sampling bit. (The commercial edit of the Madhouse Mix just uses one bar of the vocal samples and jumps right into the song.) I used a long section of the Play-Doh Dub and edited that slightly for better flow. I also used other parts of the Madhouse Mix and cut them together to build a 3 minute instrumental intro to replace how the mix started before. I especially like how it gradually builds into the song. The original idea was to use this in one of my DJ mix discs, because it'd be a great song to start the disc off with... but I ended scrapping it for other reasons and decided to finally put this online for other folks to enjoy.
This mix, along with two other versions, have been released on a "white label" CDR... promoing the tracks for a hopeful eventual release on a future compilation. A 160k MP3 of the Longer 8 minute edit version has been put online in place of the original 7 1/2 minute edit version. The 8 minute version includes a longer vocal-sampling bit towards the end of the song... also taken from the Play-Doh Dub.
