As of today, the last of the original style sets have been mailed out. Because of the significantly reduced number of orders coming in, I cannot maintain a break-even expense by volume. This set is being sold -AT COST-, There is no profit being made on this release. A lot of people may already be familiar with this release. I originally completed it in 2003 with what amounted to 3 full CDs worth of material compressed down using MP3s. The end result was about 28 audio CDs worth of material that had not been commercially available or commercially released at all. For 2007, I updated this collection to include everything that was previously released in the Until the Twelfth of Never collection, plus a whole slew of new material that couldn't fit on the original releases or had been released/obtained after the original collection was done. To give you an idea, the original collection could fit comfortably onto 3 CDs with all MP3s at 160k Stereo. This new collection, despite making every attempt to conserve space, fills up an entire DVD *and* second CD on top of that. That means there is almost 3GB of new material in this update.
 To give you an idea of what has been done: * All ID tags have been redone to fix mislabeled tracks (Unplugged) or other minor mistakes. All MP3s now have ID3v2 Cover artwork for the group of files it is a part of. * Over 140 Video Files are now a part of this collection. They include appearances on Nevermind the Buzzcocks, Top of the Pops, clips from movies in which Yazoo or Erasure songs appeared in, etc... Majority of it is *NOT* found on YouTube. The videos make up roughly 1.5GB of the collection. Whole shows are not split up into tracks, so when one video is a 10 song concert, all 10 songs are within that single file. * Over 6 hours worth of interviews. * Early Pre-Speak and Spell Depeche Mode live show *soundboard* recording. Yes. Soundboard. It sounds orgasmic. Full show, too. Some songs sound VERY different than what ended up becoming album versions. * Many more unreleased and promo exclusive tracks. In other words, the "Precious" series is continued. Unreleased Clarke and Ware tracks included as well. * A large handful of live bootleg recordings, just so you can save yourself the pain of buying a boot for $50 or more. Included are: Rip of the Wild! Party DVD to Audio MP3s, Voulez Vous (boot where Vince's synths die), Phantom Bride (ditto), loads of very high quality acoustic appearances (all pretty recent, from 2000 to 2006) and more. Loads more goodies. Check out the tracklist above and see for yourself! When it comes to the audio files, there is over *56 HOURS* worth of material in this collection between 1,100+ tracks. This DOES NOT include the video files! Final Statistics: 56 Hours, 40 Minutes and 15 Seconds worth of audio for MP3 only, 1,186 MP3 Tracks, 142 Videos, (Videos are not split up by track, so a whole show is one file) 210 other types of files, 5.01GB (5,381,131,6510 bytes) 1,538 Total Files 100 Folders. |
